Salute to Survivors: Over 400 breast cancer Survivors are expected to participate in the 2007 Komen Massachusetts Race for the Cure®. There will be various forms of recognition on Race Day. More Information about the Salute to Survivors' Program>> Sleep in for the Cure: Out of town? Can't make it on Race day? Just too hard to get out of bed on Sunday morning? No excuses - you can still make a difference! Register for "Sleep In for the Cure" and you'll receive a special T-Shirt. Proud in the Pew: For those who are committed to the fight to eradicate breast cancer but are unable to attend the Race for the Cure due to religious obligations, show your support and declare yourself "Proud in the Pew". You'll receive a special "Proud in the Pew" button you can wear proudly to services on Race day. You will also receive a Race t-shirt. Salute Flag: Salute Flags are personalized pink flags which you can purchase to honor a breast cancer Survivor, someone currently fighting breast cancer or someone we have lost. Order one today! Awards: Prizes will be awarded on Race Day to: First 3 overall male and female finishers First 3 overall breast cancer survivors First master breast cancer survivor (age 40-54) First senior breast cancer survivor (over 55) 19 and under 20-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60-69 70 and over You must be present at the awards ceremony on order to win. Beneficiaries: Up to 75% of the net proceeds from the Race will go to fund local area breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs (See Grants) and at least 25% will help fund the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation National Grant Program.
