Salute to Survivors
The Komen Boston Race for the Cure® promises to be an uplifting and a joyful acknowledgement of Breast Cancer Survivors. Breast Cancer Survivors remind us all that participating in this event is part of a bigger race to find a cure for breast cancer.
Breast Cancer Survivors and their co-Survivors are invited to enjoy a complimentary continental Sunrise breakfast before the Race in the Survivor Pavilion.
Breast Cancer Survivors who wish to be recognized may pick up their complimentary pink cap and pink t-shirt provided by Zeta Tau Alpha and RE/MAX in the Survivor Pavilion. "In Celebration of" and "in Memory of" pink, back cards will be provided to pay tribute to those who have been affected by breast cancer.
The Parade of Pink will begin in front of the main stage at 7:45AM. Together, Breast Cancer Survivors will walk once around the track guided by inspirational music, and lead all other race participants to the start line.
Following the Race, Breast Cancer Survivors are invited to return to the Survivor Pavilion, to receive a special gift bag, compliments of our generous race sponsors.
