2007 Team Challenge
The Team Challenge was introduced as part of the Komen Massachusetts
Race for the Cure in 1996. Created to encourage competition
among local businesses, civic groups, neighborhoods, schools,
clubs and church groups, the Team Challenge features groups
of 10 or more participants representing a company or organization.
Creating a team of employees, family members, or friends to walk or
run the race is a fun way to participate in friendly competition in
your community and at the same time support a vitally important cause.
For corporate teams, this can also be a great way to display corporate spirit.
All teams must register online
The team captains will be able to create a Home page and send e-mail messages to fellow employees,
family members, and friends, to encourage them to register as a member of their team.
Teams consist of ten (10) or more participants
Choose a Team Captain, and select a name.
Compete with other teams in 5 divisions: Corporate, College/School, Health Care, Clubs/Community, and Friends & Family.
Awards will also be presented in each division for the largest team and the most money (per capita).
Award presented to the Most Creative Team overall.
Online Registration opens on April 1, 2007
Online Registration (for teams) closes at 11:59 p.m. on September 17, 2007
